‘Hear us’, Oil on panel, 29x49cm The overall framed size will be 46cm x 66cm. The title is ‘Hear us’ a snippet from the 18th century text by William Whiting (better known today as the seafarers hymn).

I am delighted to be able to donate this Painting to the ‘Pale Moon Charity’ for this year’s especially poignant fundraising effort. This year’s event is in support of the Willington family who lost father and son in a fishing boat accident off the Pembrokeshire coast in April. The tragedy touched the whole Nation.

Saddened by this and the surviving family’s circumstances, we hope that the funds raised will help to ease the financial pressures for the family and that they will take some comfort from the ground swell of local support and generosity.

The painting will be displayed at ‘This Hallowed Coast Exhibition’ at St. Davids Cathedral from Tuesday 13th September until the night of Saturday 17th. It is available for ‘sale’ during the exhibition with the understanding that the sale will be to the Highest Bidder!  Your ‘highest offer’ bids can be placed in an envelope at the exhibition and the bidding will conclude at the auction during ‘Pale Moon Big Night Out’, the charity’s main fundraising event. If you don’t live locally you can still bid by phone please message me for details.

Tickets for the event (see poster below) can be purchased online through eventbrite or at several local venues in Pembrokeshire. It promises to be a fabulous evening of entertainment and fun.
