I was absolutely delighted that once again a painting of mine made the final selection for this year’s Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition at Mall Galleries in central London. The Painting appeared alongside works by some of Britain’s leading marine artists between 5th and 14th October 2017.
On the 4th October I spent a fantastic day at the private view and official opening. I met a lot of the other exhibiting artists including many who are elected members of the RSMA. The turnout was fantastic and there was a real buzz as people enjoyed the huge variety of marine art on display.
The Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition has come to be recognised as the most prestigious and varied exhibition of marine art in the UK. The exhibition’s theme is the sea and everything related to it, from beaches and creeks to harbours and boats. The premier marine art exhibition in the country, it will featured approximately 400 works from both emerging and well-established artists across a range of media, including oil painting, watercolour, pastels, prints, and sculpture.
